Supplementary software for the paper

A.V.Lokhov and F.V.Tkachov "Confidence intervals with a priori parameter bounds" 2014

The method described in this paper is to be used instead of the recipe of Feldman and Cousins.

The current version of the software (March, 2014) only handles the discrete case (the Poisson distribution).

An upgrade with extensions for the continuous case with arbitrary estimator distribution will be provided at a later time (before Summer, 2014).

confint.zip (11M; minor corrections: 2015-01-21)

On Windows, download the zip file, expand it into a new directory, run BlackBox.exe, read the instructions.

On Linux, the BlackBox.exe should be run under wine.
